Hasidic grocery stores go hardcore for Passover. They sell a whole assortment of unusual items, from ten bread crumbs, to salt water, to unbelievably bitter horseradish. They also stop selling bread, rice, beans, corn for eight days! It’s a grocery store full of tradition and meaning, and on this tour, I show you around for some of it.

Many thanks to Landau’s Grocery Store in Boro Park for the hospitality during the busy Passover season.
