In this video – which takes place both on the Boys Town Jerusalem campus and in the old city of Jerusalem – Yair is always on his phone during lunch, in class, even while baking matzah with his classmates. It’s only when he turns off his phone that he is able to be present in the moment. When his teacher asks everyone to write their hidden request on a note, Yair asks to be a free man. He then puts the note in between the stones of the Kotel in Jerusalem.
