Chanshi is a comedic drama that tells the story of a religious woman from America who lands in Israel on a wild and boundless journey, putting herself to the test between her religious values and her desires.

Like every young woman from the Jewish community in Brooklyn, Hanshi (Aliza Hanovitch) is on track to get married in a match, have six children, and prepare cholent on Shabbat. But unlike all of them, Hanshi carries with her a secret fantasy that a good religious girl must not dream of – having a lot of sex. with many Israeli soldiers. Somewhere in the Middle East.
Just before the wedding to a man she doesn’t really know, she decides to everyone’s surprise and against her family’s opposition, to abandon everything and make a sudden aliyah to the Land of Israel. Precisely in the Holy Land, in the heart of Jerusalem, Hanshi undergoes a wild, sexy and limitless journey, becoming the free and adventurous woman she always wanted to be. But in the process, she must learn to find her boundaries and find who she really is.
Episode 2: Following the events of the previous night, the upset Hanshi realizes that there is no way back, so she goes to the Interior Ministry to make Aliyah. Hanshi’s dramatic news lands on Noki just before her bachelorette party – and creates a rift in their friendship.
