It’s almost Shavuot! Shavuot is the holiday that celebrates Moses receiving the 10 Commandments on Mt. Sinai. We’ve celebrated Chanukah, Passover, and sometimes Shabbat in our home, but it’s time to add another Jewish holiday. Whether you bring your kids to tot Shabbat, Jewish preschool, Sunday school, or Shabbat services, it’s always magical to do a celebration at home. It’s so important to me that my kids think of being Jewish as all the cool stuff we get to do and not focus on the things they’re “missing out on”.
