Mundak Lukiwicki, a tough 22-year-old commander, the only Jew in the Polish “Army Kryowa” underground, walked around the woods armed with a rifle and a Leica camera. His son, Shimon Lavi, discovers the true story of Mundak and what he hid all these years, while at the same time he discovers the story of his partisan mother Hana Baran, who murdered the Ukrainian officer who raped her and managed to escape to her parents’ house, from where she joined the partisans.
