Meir has the right idea about being a volunteer first responder. It isn’t only about the glory calls, or the ones where we save lives. It is about helping people no matter what they need. Whether it is helping someone get out of bed who can’t sit up, or simply carrying a patient who needs to get to the hospital down a flight of stairs. As a United Hatzalah volunteer, he responds to each and every call with the level of professionalism and care.
