Barel is a Rabbi and runs a Kollel in the city of Or Yehuda. He also volunteers as an EMT and a member of the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit (PCRU) for United Hatzalah. He spoke to us about the unique area in which he lives and how being a first responder helps him internalize lessons that he uses every day.
