When you choose to make a change, it`s not like one morning you get up and say I`m choosing to change my life and that`s it. It`s waking up every morning and deciding that for the next 24 hours, I`m going to do everything I can to take another step forward and not a step back.
After spending time in jail, Lt. Yossi realized that he needed to turn his life around. After undergoing rehab, Yossi, who was exempt from serving in the IDF, realized that he wanted to serve his country as a combat soldier. Today, Yossi is an IDF officer in the Givati Brigade. This is his story:
