Israeli Music star Noa Kirel joined the IDF this morning. The 18-year old star will be in unit 80, where she’ll manage her own band for the troops.
“Kirel told entertainment magazine Pnai Plus she always intended to enlist, despite a precedent of celebrities being able to dodge army service. “It’s something I always wanted, I have a strong army history, my grandfather, my dad both served. I want to be an example for all boys and girls to enlist. It was very important to me.”
