This story is a bit different than the stories that are sometimes reported in the news.
A group of residents of the West Bank, working at the Gush Etzion Winery, decided they wanted to do something to commemorate the life of a Palestinian co-worker, who died suddenly from a brain hemorrhage at age 25.
They decided to plant an olive tree in his memory, fuly aware of the symbolism how that tree is portrayed in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Alongside the olive tree, they erected a tombstone with inscriptions in Hebrew and Arabic. H/T Jewish Press
