One of the most complicated problems in modern Israeli society is that of Agunot- women who are “chained” to a marriage because they cannot get a divorce document from their husbands.
In this new 12-episode Hebrew reality series, Aviv Allouche is Joseph Murad, a psychologist-detective whose job is to release aggrieved women – to find defiant husbands and get them to sign a divorce. Gradually, Rabbi Murad discovers that the big mystery is happening to his wife Hannah, who is keeping a secret that threatens their relationship.
In the first episode, Rabbi Yosef achieves a particularly difficult divorce from a jeweler who fled abroad. He returned to Israel glorified and having no less difficult objector, spousal abuse, a cashier who wants to start a new life. At the same time, Rabbi Yosef is faced with new revelations about his wife Hannah.
