Song lyrics below… Don`t forget to SUBSCRIBE! Join Chicago-based Jewish vocal band, Listen Up! A Cappella as they celebrate peace and brotherhood around the world with two wonderful songs that continue to bring people together in challenging times. “Salaam” and “Shalom” mean PEACE and it is a universal greeting in Arabic and Hebrew. The late Bill Withers` “Lean on Me” is an anthem for coming together for a better tomorrow.

In particular, we`re delighted to highlight:
– the Israel-United Arab Emirates peace agreement (“Abraham Accord”). We pray for this historic agreement to continue to bear fruits of brotherhood, mutuality and peace for Jews and Arabs worldwide.
– new peace agreements and normalization with Kosovo (and moving of Serbian embassy to Jerusalem) and Bahrain
– #blackjewishunity week (Sept 6-11) – a collaboration between the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and the Urban National League to address rising antisemitism and racism. Learn more at:

Od yavo` shalom aleinu (X3)
Ve al kulam

Salaam, Salaam
Aleinu ve al kol ha olam,
Salaam, Salaam

Peace will come upon us and on everyone.

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there`s always tomorrow
Lean on me, when you`re not strong
And I`ll be your friend
I`ll help you carry on
For it won`t be long
`Til I`m gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you won`t let show

You just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you`ll understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me, when you`re not strong
And I`ll be your friend
I`ll help you carry on
For it won`t be long
`Til I`m gonna need
Somebody to lean on

If there is a load you have to bear
That you can`t carry
I`m right up the road
I`ll share your load

Thanks! Don't forget to share this with your friends!
