True story: it was Monday night, December 12. We were leaving the studio where we’d just shot the footage for our new Hamilton Chanukah video (, and were already running late for our rehearsal further uptown with the rest of the guys for our upcoming performance at the White House.

As we hurried out onto the dark side street where the building lets out, we all fumbled for our phones to begin frantically hailing Ubers, when — as if pre-planned — a white, stretch limousine pulled up in front of us. The driver popped out and made us an offer we couldn’t refuse to take us “anywhere we want to go”. We looked at each other, shrugged, laughed and piled in.

What does Six13 do in a limo? Pretty obvious…

Good thing we had world-class cameraman Greg Starr there to document. And special thanks to “Hukes” from E. Schwarz Limouosine Service for appearing in the most random of locations at the most random of times, and making this ride, um… necessary.

Check out our studio version of this tune, which we had the privilege of recording with the incredible Gad Elbaz — and Six13’s other songs on iTunes:

This song and all Six13 songs are completely a cappella — created with nothing but the human voice.

Anchored by a strong Jewish identity and driven by a mission to connect Jews around the globe with their heritage through music, professional Jewish a cappella group Six13 are the originators of today’s Jewish a cappella sound.
