On “Mon Amour” The Idan Raichel Project are joined by their close friend and frequent collaborator Vieux Farka Touré from Mali. The video was directed by Gal Katzir and features photographs by Israeli photographer Ziv Koren.
The song is from The Idan Raichel Project’s new album “Quarter to Six”, available in North America on June 4 and in Europe in September 2013. The new album features guest appearances by Ana Moura from Portugal, German countertenor Andreas Scholl, Palestinean-Israeli singer Mira Awad, Marta Gomez from Colombia and some of Israel’s top vocalists and musicians.
