Jerusalem has an estimated 240,000 felines wandering its streets. Many of these cats live a life of suffering – struggling to find food, and dealing with serious untreated diseases and injuries.
By and large, this problem is not being dealt with on the governmental level and will likely continue for the foreseeable future.
In this video, Sophie attempts to pet as many of these cats as possible.
