Lt. Col. Ido Sa’ad, the Commanding Officer of the Brigade Training Base for the Border Defense Forces, shows you how he trains his soldiers to be prepared to defend Israel and its borders.
The IDF Border Defense Forces is a coed corps under the Central and Southern Command made up of four infantry battalions: Bardelas Battalion, Caracal Battalion, Lion of the Valley Battalion, and Lions of the Jordan Valley Battalion. The corps is responsible for guarding Israel’s borders with Egypt and Jordan, as well as responding to security issues across Israel and the West Bank.
