So excited to share this song in honor of Chai (18) Elul, the birthday of the Alter Rebbe and the Baal Shem Tov. Though the month of Elul was always known as a propitious time for repentance, the Alter Rebbe highlighted G-d’s unusual proximity during this time by likening Him to a king who passes through the field on the way to his palace. At this time, anyone who so desires may approach the king, and he receives them all warmly and hears their petitions. What an incredible opportunity to draw close to our beloved King! 👑
